Members of the Hampton Bays High School select choir and jazz band, along with culinary students from the school, showcased their talents at the New York State Council of School Superintendents’ fall conference in Saratoga Springs. Under the direction of their teachers, Meaghan Padilla and Jennifer Halsey, the choir and jazz band performed several pieces, including Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” and Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.” The culinary students, with their teacher, Conor Curtis, served up delicious Saratoga apple crepes with a mascarpone whipped cream.
