Hampton Bays Middle School students joined schools and communities across the country to celebrate Start With Hello Week during the week of Sept. 21. The initiative promoted kindness, inclusion and connection by encouraging students to reach out, make connections and ensure that everyone feels welcome. In marking the week, middle school students wore green to show their support for the initiative and participated in activities focused on spreading kindness, including signing a pledge to be kind to others.
