Adult Education

Message from the Superintendent

Dear Hampton Bays Community Residents and Neighbors,

Welcome to the Hampton Bays Community and Continuing Education Program, or Adult Ed as we call it. The courses offered in this program are varied, diverse, and responsive to the requests of our community. In keeping with the mission of the Hampton Bays Public Schools, the Continuing Education Program promotes the ideals of lifelong learning and engagement. From students entering Pre-Kindergarten as a four year-old to adults taking an arts or language class on a Wednesday evening, the Hampton Bays Public Schools has something for everyone!

Please take time to review all of the courses and activities offered and get involved. If you do, I know you will be pleased! As always, we strive to continuously improve, so offer suggestions regarding the courses we offer and ideas for the ones we do not. Program director, Eleni Fotopoulos at the High School looks forward to meeting you and signing you up for a great experience!

Best wishes for continued lifelong learning,
Lars Clemensen
Superintendent of Schools

Message from the Director

The Community and Continuing Education Program strives to offer a variety of opportunities for learning and growth. This semester we are pleased to offer classes in the areas of crafts, physical fitness, health and safety, and the arts. Some old favorites are back, and there are newcomers as well, like Zumba with Tiana and Theatre, History and the Light Houses of Long Island. Why not take a moment to browse through this brochure? We hope you will find something appealing and make the decision to become involved in the continuing education experience.

Sincerely,
Eleni Fotopoulos
Director
