In honor of Patriot’s Day, Hampton Bays Elementary School second grade students in Krista Savino’s classroom learned about heroes in the community and trusted adults that they can count on. Students discussed firefighters, police officers, the military and doctors. They then wrote thank-you notes and drew pictures for these heroes.
