Hampton Bays earns NYSPHSAA School of Excellence Award

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association has named Hampton Bays High School a School of Excellence for the 2023-2024 school year. thumbnail261399
The New York State Public High School Athletic Association has named Hampton Bays High School a School of Excellence for the 2023-2024 school year.

To earn this recognition, 75% of the school’s varsity teams were required to hold a GPA above 90%. Hampton Bays is among 226 schools to receive this noteworthy designation.

The Hampton Bays School District congratulates its varsity teams on an outstanding job.

Baymen pride on display during homecoming week

Excitement and pride were in the air as Hampton Bays High School celebrated homecoming during the week of Sept. 23. The week included a spirited pep rally, a community bonfire and a parade, as well as a homecoming dance.

The week also featured sporting events, including varsity boys and girls soccer matches, a girls volleyball game and a culminating homecoming football game under the lights. After a two-year hiatus, the Baymen were back on the field. They ousted Wyandanch with a final score of 38-6. Go Baymen!
