Hampton Bays High School senior Taylor Meyer recently earned recognition as a News12 Scholar Athlete for her athletic achievements and commitment to academic excellence. She earned the honor following a nomination from her coach, Jules Radin.
Meyer is a dedicated three-sport athlete. She competes in volleyball, basketball and lacrosse and has earned numerous accolades throughout her high school career. In volleyball, she has been named All-County Tournament, All-Classification and All-League. On the basketball court, Meyer has earned MVP and All-League honors. In lacrosse, she has been recognized as a two-time All-County and an All-County Honorable Mention designee, a Hustle Award winner and a Leader of the Game honoree. She has also surpassed 150 career points and 100 career goals.
In the fall, Meyer will attend Pace University, where she plans to study nursing. She will also continue her athletic career, competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level.
