Consejos

Pienso  que uno de los consejos más importantes es alentar a los estudiantes a celebrar  y aceptar su cultura original. Es importante que los estudiantes puedan recordar sus tradiciones  y cultura, aunque puedan vivir en un lugar diferente. Es posible que estos aspectos de su cultura. Pueden adoptar la cultura del lugar que se han mudado. También, es muy normal que uno se sienta mal cuando se adapta a un nuevo ambiente. Es posible que haya un proceso  de duelo a ajustar al dejar su país natal, sus familiares, amigos y conocidos. Es una experiencia  dura, pero hay que asegurarse de que no es para siempre.

Los consejos que yo les doy a los estudiantes nuevos es que sean pacientes con lo que hacen  no agarren un mal camino como por ejemplo:  las drogas o cosas asi, que vean la vida como es de bonita, sigan estudiando una carrera para que los papás de uno vean que nosotros podemos y que nadie nos humille como a veces la familia lo hace o otras personas.  También, quería decir que yo estoy para ellos, si necesitan algo pueden hablarme. Yo estoy aquí para lo que necesiten.

I think one of the most important tips is to encourage students to celebrate and embrace their original culture. It is important for students to be able to remember their traditions and culture, even though they may live in a different place. It is possible that these aspects of their culture. They may adopt the culture of the place they have moved to. Also, it is very normal to feel bad when adapting to a new environment. There may be a grieving process to adjust to when leaving your home country, family, friends and acquaintances. It is a tough experience, but you have to make sure that it is not forever.

The advice I give to new students is to be patient with what they do, don't go down a bad path such as drugs or things like that, see life as it is beautiful, continue studying a career so that your parents can see that you can do it and that no one humiliates you as sometimes the family or other people do.  Also, I wanted to say that I am here for them, if they need anything they can talk to me. I am here for whatever they need.
