An impressive 57 Hampton Bays High School seniors in the class of 2025 have earned a New York State Seal of Civic Readiness on their diplomas. This is the second year that the district has offered the civics seal program.

The students earned the seal through their advanced college government class. They completed an AP Capstone project and advanced coursework, as well as maintained good course averages and/or scored well on one or more Regents exams.

The New York State Seal of Civic Readiness is a formal recognition that a student has attained a high level of proficiency in terms of civic knowledge, civic skills, civic mindset and civic experiences.
