Hampton Bays Middle School students recently celebrated Local Heroes Day. As part of the day, local law enforcement officers visited the school and spoke to students about the different kinds of police jobs, including those related to the SWAT team, K-9 unit and helicopter unit. Students also learned about police drones and safety and were thrilled to see a police helicopter landing.
