Hampton Bays Elementary School second grade students recently delighted audiences with an annual Reader’s Theater performance of “The Gingerbread Baby,” inspired by their study of author Jan Brett. Guided by their teachers, the students practiced fluency, expression and collaboration as they prepared for the performance. Their hard work and enthusiasm were on full display as they confidently shared the story with classmates and guests.
