As part of a schoolwide Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, Hampton Bays Elementary School students partook in several learning activities related to Hispanic heritage. The month kicked off with a Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week, where students displayed their pride and appreciation to people of Hispanic descent. In world language classes, students learned about Hispanic countries, food and culture, and fourth grade students decorated the school with Hispanic heritage posters.
