Hampton Bays Elementary School third grade students in Kelley Davide and Ryan Heeter’s class recently penned impressive acrostic poems using their first names. They were encouraged to brainstorm their hobbies, personality traits and favorite foods to use in their poems. Their completed work was glued to a paper apple for a fall display.
