Hampton Bays Middle School recently held its “Rise to the Challenge” awards ceremony, during which a group of impressive students were recognized with certificates of achievement for demonstrating outstanding character, leadership and perseverance. The awardees were each cited for embodying the core values of their school — respect, responsibility, gratitude, generosity, acceptance, honesty, courage and citizenship. The middle school extends its congratulations to these students for “rising to the challenge.”
