Hampton Bays Elementary School kindergartners participated in St. Patrick’s Day-themed activities on March 17 and attempted to catch a leprechaun with traps that they designed at home. Despite setting their traps in their classrooms with bait, the leprechaun eluded them, leaving behind green glitter, footprints and a mess in their classrooms. Better luck next year!
