To culminate a unit where they learned how to interpret graph data, the second graders in Erin McDermott’s class at Hampton Bays Elementary School created their own Super Bowl graphs. The students voted on who they thought would win the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles, and organized the data from the votes into graphs, including a tally chart and a bar graph. They then analyzed the data to answer questions about findings that the Chiefs will go for a three-peat.
