Five Hampton Bays Elementary School students displayed their science smarts at the annual Brookhaven National Laboratory Elementary Science Fair Competition on June 8, with kindergartner Scarlett Luna taking home an honorable mention for her project, “Can you get sick at school?” The Hampton Bays School District extends its congratulations to the young scientists on a job well done: Isla Loudenslager, Lucas Luna, Scarlett Luna, Archer McLoughlin and Tessa Obert.
