Kevin Springer, President
Kevin Springer has been a resident of Hampton Bays for more than 50 years. A graduate of the Hampton Bays Schools himself, Kevin has devoted his adult life to the schools, serving as a youth sports coach for more than 20 years and as a member of the Hampton Bays Citizens Advisory Committee, the Concerned Citizens of Hampton Bays, and the Hampton Bays Booster Club. Kevin is the owner of his own business, Dynamic Legal Services.
Kevin has three children, all current or former students of Hampton Bays Public Schools. Michael is a 2014 graduate, Kylie is a 2017 graduate, and Reese is a senior at Hampton Bays High School.
Richard Joslin, Vice President
Richard Joslin is a life-long resident of Hampton Bays and graduated from Hampton Bays High School in 1970. Mr. Joslin received his bachelor’s degree in education from the State University of New York Oneonta. A retired educator, he taught in the Hampton Bays Elementary and Middle Schools for 34 years and was an adjunct professor at Long Island University, Southampton College.
Mr. Joslin is currently the coordinator of the SUNY Cortland Student Teaching program on Long Island and supervises student teachers. His daughter, Tarrin is teaching special education in Houston. Stefani is in Law School at Syracuse and Taite is attending Oneonta University.
Dorothy Capuano, Trustee
Dorothy “Dot” Capuano has been a resident of Hampton Bays for over 50 years. She is the general manager of a yacht club and a local business owner. Dot graduated from Hampton Bays High School, attended Suffolk County Community College, and received her bachelor’s degree from Long Island University at Southampton. As an active member of the community, Dot served as the President of the Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce, as a board member of the Hampton Visitors Council and as a member of the Southampton Business Alliance. Dot has three children that are all Hampton Bays alumni. Her sons John and Tom earned their bachelor degrees at SUNY Purchase and SUNY Geneseo and her daughter Amanda earned her master’s degree at Notre Dame de Namur University in California.
Anne Culhane, Trustee
Anne Culhane has been a resident of Hampton Bays since 2005. She received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Southampton College in 1998 and a Masters Degree in Literacy from Long Island University in 2008. Culhane has been a kindergarten teacher at the East Quogue Elementary School since 2004. Anne and her husband PJ have two sons, Ethan, HBHS Class of 2021 and Thomas, HBHS Class of 2025.
Liz Scully, Trustee
Liz Scully, a Southampton College alumna, has lived in Hampton Bays for nearly 15 years. It was during college when she fell in love with the close-knit community and chose to call it home. She is an active member of the school community, serving as president of the Hampton Bays Middle School Parent Teacher Organization, a member of the Executive Board of the High School Parent Teacher Student Association and a member of the Hampton Bays Booster Club.
Since 2005, Mrs. Scully has owned a local photography business, building relationships with many groups throughout Hampton Bays. When not working, she enjoys spending quality time playing sports, reading books and hanging out at the beach with her husband, Fergus, and two daughters, Caelinn (HBHS Class of 2018) and Saorla (HBHS Class of 2021).
